You have permission from yourself to yourself to play the piano or not play the piano.
Don't let anyone bully you into thinking that in order to prove that you can actually play you need to play for that person right then.
No.
You play when you want to play.
You don't play when you don't want to play.
You do not have to explain.
You don't have to offer a reason.
You have nothing to prove to anyone.
This is your art. You define when you wish to express it. You define for whom you want to express it.
We teach this.
Happy Monday!
