24 little hours...

In 24 hours, I learned:

My music is used in yoga classes in South Africa.

A friend's children's book is used in elementary classes in Belgium.

My dear cousin's handmade desk that she was ready to throw out was given to a woman who recently left an abusive situation so that she can continue her business.

That thing you do that "isn't a big deal" is a big effing deal to someone else.

Within the next 24 hours, look and see the difference those little things make to other people. Trust me--it is the little things like someone texting saying "Hey, thinkin' about cha" or someone wearing that sweater you gave them that makes them think of that one time y'all did that thing. I guarantee you and your loved ones are creating a much bigger impact, person to person, than you think.

And when you feel low, think about all the things that everyone in your orbit does to help, with no thought of recompense.

My day was changed yesterday observing this. It gave me some momentum to look for the good today.

Truly, what a difference a day makes...

The picture has nothing to do with the post, except for the fact that I was consuming the coffee when I wrote this.
